St. Kitts is fairly new to the diving world and offers divers a
world of pristine sites without crowds. The most common dive
sites are found on the western side of the island in the calmer
Caribbean waters. Here visibility runs as much as 100 feet.
Some top dive spots include the following.
Black Coral Reef. This dive site is located 40-70
feet below the surface and is best known for its pro-
tected black coral.
Bloody Bay Reef. Located at 60-80 feet, this dive
site is noted for its healthy undersea life, from
anemones to sea fans. A popular fishing site as well,
an occasional shark is seen here, the result of chum-
ming. Divers will find several caves in this area.
