On the southern side of Hedonism II lies Sandals, a couples-
only resort that's especially popular with honeymooners be-
cause it is couples-only. Don't look for a nude beach here, but in-
stead an atmosphere focused on couples in love. Within the
Sandals chain, this location is also popular with sports-
conscious guests because of its extensive watersports program.

Swept Away, located on Negril's famous Seven Mile Beach, fo-
cuses on quiet relaxation for couples that are fitness and diet
conscious. Sure, there are the requisite beach bars and buffets,
but Swept Away also boasts a beachside veggie bar with pita
sandwiches, grilled chicken, and pasta salads. It is known as
one of the top sports destinations in the Caribbean. Courts for
tennis, racquetball, squash, basketball, plus an Olympic-size
pool, a fully equipped gym, and aerobics classes keep visitors
busy.
But all work and no play does not a vacationer make, so Swept
Away also emphasizes romance. The 20-acre property offers
plenty of room for private walks through acres of tropical gar-
dens where hummingbirds dart from hibiscus to bird-of-
paradise blooms.
