Today the home showcases the work of Chef Kandathil Mathai,
who has cooked for Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Margaret
Thatcher, Princess Anne and the Reagan family. The menu in-
cludes entrées such as tenderloin of Black Angus beef, Carib-
bean broiled lobster tail and more. Specialties include lobster
tail sautéed with shallots, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes and
beurre blanc, and baked shrimp “Grand Old House.” They offer
an extensive wine list.
The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday from
11:45 am to 2 pm, and dinner, Monday through Saturday from 6
to 10 pm.

This is a delightfully fun eatery, located right on the beach with
indoor and outdoor seating. Start with pepperpot soup or conch
and clam chowder, but don't miss the Cayman-style conch frit-
ters with chipotle tartar sauce. Entrées range from Caribbean
spiny lobster tail to roasted rack of lamb to pan-fried snapper.

This elegant restaurant has an excellent menu featuring spicy
Cuban black bean soup, jerk pork tenderloin, and grilled yel-
lowfin tuna with cilantro linguine, followed by tropical coconut
cream pie with white chocolate shavings and mango sauce or
frozen Cayman lime pie with raspberry sauce and whipped
