This 248-room, all-inclusive resort is more than a hotel, it's a
regular tourist attraction. Built in the 19th century, this castle
was the property of pirate Sam Hall Lord, who, according to leg-
end, lured passing ships onto the east coast rocks. Of course, no
real castle would be complete without its resident ghost, and at
Sam Lord's they say his truly still rests on his four-poster bed.
Special Features/Activities: beachfront, casual and fine dining,
health club.
