In-Depth Information
As clearly shown in the present paper the polysaccharide solid containing excess water can
also provide such conditions where convection does not take place.
Conclusive Remarks
Thus, tight polysaccharide media containing excess water are proposed wherein only self-
diffusion of solutes can take place and convection is prohibited. The effect of convection on
electrochemistry is unknown but important future research subject; such study is now under
way by using the polysaccharide solids. In addition, some crystal growth was tested in a
polysaccharide solid giving much larger crystals in the solid than in a conventional liquid
water.
Application of Polysaccharide Solids to a Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell
Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell and its Solidification
The photosensitized solar cell composed of nanoparticulated TiO 2 porous film adsorbing
dye reported by Graetzel's group (figure 16) [7, 33] has shown a great success in the relevant
research area.
