Being voted Best Soda is a pleasant surprise for Nazareth, who alway planned to make
the Soda the best she could. “One always works to get better and provide a better service
for the clients,” she says. “In my case, I never do it expecting to be recognized by some-
body. If I do something for the Soda, it's for the clients.” Still, she is grateful for the vote
of confidence the award for Best Soda represents. “It makes us happy to see that our clients
notice what we do, knowing that the client is thankful. This is really recognition from the
clients.”

Ingredients
· 3 C cooked rice (preferably a day or two old)
· 2¼ C cooked black beans
· 1 large onion
· 1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
· 1 red bell pepper diced
· 2 cloves garlic diced
· 2 Tbsp. Salsa Inglesa
· Salt to taste
Method
1.Saute garlic and onion.
2.Add beans and Salsa Inglesa.
3.Cook for 5 minutes.
4.Add rice and mix well.
5.Add cilantro and red bell pepper and cook slowly on low flame.
6.Add salt to taste.
