painting one will more often than not give
you a better-looking texture that uses far
less memory and looks good both from a
great distance and at close range.

FI's Wrinkle
(Intel, Mac OS9, Mac OSX) Full Version
FI's Wrinkle adds works perfectly with
sub-patches and only adds the minimum
amount of geometry to keep the detail in
place.
What it is : Modeler => Utilities | Addi-
tional | FI's_Wrinkle will “wrinkle” your
model along a “seam” desig-
nated by your point selection.
You drag your mouse left or
right to change the depth of
the wrinkle and up or down
to change its width.
What makes this cool :
You can quickly add detail to a
mesh that holds up under
scrutiny far better than any
