Note
You'll notice that even though you
accepted the name “Bone” as the
name for the second bone, it shows up
as “Bone (2)” in the Current Item list
and in the Schematic views and Scene
Editor windows.
When there are two similar items
with the same name in a scene,
LightWave automatically adds tempo-
rary, sequential numbers to the
similarly named items. These numbers
go away if/when you choose to
rename the item (which you can do by
choosing Rename from the right-click
menu that opens when right-clicking on the item in a Schematic view or Scene Editor window,
or by choosing Items | Replace | Rename).

Use Items | Add | Null to create
another null object, but this time,
name the null Goal . This will become
the goal object (target) of our simple
IK chain.
