shown in Figure 14-31 and create a
new spline. This will become the right
spline in our quad cage.
Check your model by spinning it around in
the Perspective viewport and correct any
errors you might find.
We're making good progress. We've built
a quad cage with four new splines (top, bot-
tom, left, and right) that forms a new edge
loop. This loop runs over the brow, behind
the eye, down across the cheek, and over
the upper lip and tip of the nose. Of course,
we now have a number of regions bounded
by more than four splines (violating Tip
#2). It's time to correct this.

23. Create a new point at the top of the
forehead between the first point in the
profile spline and the first point in the
spline to its right (see Figure 14-33).
Select the remaining two points in Fig-
ure 14-33 and create a new spline.
