Mot bakeries and worth every delectable calorie. Lots of French fancies and a darn good
pie.

Simply Indian
(130 High St; mains $16-23; lunch & dinner Mon-Sat, dinner Sun; ) As the name suggests, this
is no-nonsense curry in a no-frills setting. The food is consistently good and relatively
cheap, with takeaway available.

Sprig and Fern

holes is an offshoot of the Nelson brewery of the same name. It's small but pleasant, with
courtyards, 20 beer taps, simple food (burgers, pizza, platters) and occasional live music.
