Getting To/From the Tramp
The national park is well serviced by shuttle operators, including Taupo-based

Sample shuttle prices are $35 from Turangi to Whakapapa, and $35 to $40 return for the
Tongariro Alpine Crossing (from Base Camp or Whakapapa to Mangatepopo and return
from Ketatahi). Be sure to book your shuttle in advance to avoid being stranded.
