Beaches
Abel Tasman is lined with dozens of secluded golden beaches accessible only by boat,
kayak or on foot. Kahurangi's West Coast beaches are equally appealing for a walk on the

A smorgasbord of geological delights, from Abel Tasman's rocky outcrops of granite, lime-
stone and marble, to karst landscapes etched with caves, arches and bluffs in Kahurangi, and
glaciated valleys and alpine basins of the Nelson Lakes.
