get off at the Cruce del Quince (15km west of Ázua; RD$100), and wait at the junction for
a west-bound bus to San Juan (RD$130, one hour).

has 1st-class service
to Ázua (RD$155, one hour) and Santo Domingo (RD$260, 3½ hours) departing at
6:15am, 9:45am, 1:30pm and 5:15pm.
Getting Around
Barahona is somewhat spread out, though the area around the center is navigable by foot.
