Drinking & Entertainment
Cabarete nightlife is centered on the bars and restaurants that spill out onto the beach - it's
a fun and vibrant scene. Most are open to around 3am. 'Subtle' prostitution exists at some
nightspots, but most importantly keep an eye on your valuables and do not walk on the
beach at night east of Villa Taina, essentially the stretch between Cabarete Beach and
Punta Goleta.

Lazy Dog

( 8am-late) Winnipeg Jets fans? Anyone? Diehards of the Canadian city's NHL franchise
can rejoice since Lazy Dog's owner, a Winnipeg native himself, shows every televised
game at his place on the far eastern end of Cabarete's beach. Spanglish, a local cover
band, plays every Wednesday and Friday from 4pm. Two of the very large menu's high-
lights are the calamari and spicy shrimp.
