the access road to El Choco a further 9km for Monkey Jungle, a working organic farm
with a sanctuary for rescued squirrel and capuchin monkeys and a thrilling 4400ft zip line.
All proceeds go to the on-site medical and dental clinic which provides free care to the
surrounding communities. In what might seem like a disconcerting clash to some, a hand-
gun firing range shares the property.

Spanish classes, for
beginners and advanced students alike, are offered at Hotel El ColibrÃ, just east of the
town center. Most are given in two-hour increments, divided equally between grammar
and vocabulary and conversation. Prices vary according to the length of the course and the
number of students.
