Nearly everyone in Buenos Aires uses a mobile phone. Local SIM chips can be bought for unlocked interna-
tional phones, and credit added as needed.
Time
Argentina is three hours behind GMT and generally does not observe daylight-saving time, but this situation
may change.
Tourist Information
Tourist information offices and kiosks are dotted across the city, especially in neighborhoods popular with
tourists.
