Supermarket Sweep
Along with a real upswing in restaurant food quality has come a noticeable improve-
ment in what's on offer in the shops. No longer does your shopping experience consist
largely of queuing and asking a ferocious sales assistant to show you the 'produkty' .
These days there are excellent supermarkets stocking everything from organic hum-
mus to freshly baked baguettes, and while you'll pay for the pleasure, food shopping
in St Petersburg is a breeze.
