The Bangkok satellite of a Chiang Mai store, Nandakwang sells a fun and colour-
ful mix of cloth products. Cheery, chunky, hand-embroidered pillows are particularly at-
tractive, and are also the best way to locate this shop, which doesn't have an English lan-
guage sign.

next door to the popular bar WTF, the headquarters of this retro/world label is a chance to
finally combine the university-era pastimes of record-browsing and drinking. Come to
snicker at corny old Thai vinyl covers or invest in some of the label's highly regarded com-
pilations of classic
mŏr lam
and
lôok tûng
(both styles of Thai-country music).
