7.3.2 Adequate Configuration
The basic configuration is uploaded onto an empty hardware or partition and
contains the new software version to be tested (release, service pack etc.) as well
as an initialised but empty data base. This environment will be provided and can
then be prepared according to the specific demands of the customer.
7.3.3 A Stand Alone Milestone
The following describes the necessary steps to be observed when building a new
system with existing applications. Aspects of quality assurance and relevance to
acceptance play the most important roles. The presented step sequence is at the
same time also the chronological sequence of the overall process. In this respect this
section can be regarded as a guideline.
7.3.3.1 Functional Specifications
All requirements to build this system translated into tasks in the following should be
