In-Depth Information
On the work instruction level further scenarios with regard to the variables “start
condition” and “input” are possible. The combination of these three items is
uniquely identifiable by a running number following the process hierarchy.
5.4.5.3 Acceptance Criteria
For each identified test case there exist acceptance criteria, which can be differen-
tiated as follows:
￿ Expected output and
￿ Purpose (relative to the work instruction).
5.4.5.4 Reference
Every test case with its acceptance criteria is recorded in a test case catalogue. This
catalogue contains also evaluation matrices for each test case holding the following
information:
￿ Relevance
￿ Test area
￿ Test result
￿ Comment
￿ Tester and
￿ Tracker ID.
(Error protocol in the appendix).
5.4.5.5 Test Process Steps
While test process steps are defined by the relevant specialist teams of developers
and test case authors the supplier provides his technical test results from the
development phase to the teams.
The test process steps are to be recorded in a data base as follows:
ID
> Identification
Short Text
Break up of Test Case into Test Steps
>
Step 1
Description of Test Process Step 1
Step 2
Description of Test Process Step 2
Description of test data
...
