In-Depth Information
1. General
2. System Overview
1.1 Objective
2.1 Short Description
The technical specifications describe the
solutions by which functional requests
are to be implemented. A detailed
system description is the basis for the
realisation by the developpers of the
supplier.
The application, main functions and the
system platform to be employed.
2.2 Component Architecture
Either using existing structures or
creating new ones with new
functions.
The requests laid down in the functional
specifications are to be translated into
technical solutions and their pre-
conditions.
Interplay between the various system
components and their mutual
dependencies.

2.3 Object Model
2.5 Interfaces
The interface description contains
information about data items to be
exchanged and their formats,
plausibility checks, mapping tables,
access modes etc.
Taking into account the component
architecture the individual object
models are to be developped,
supplemented or left as they are and
tailored to suit the new architecture.
Should interface descriptions be available
already in separate documents
these could be referenced.
2.4 Data Model
Translation of the object models into a
physical data structure with data base
schema, tables and attributes as a
basis for the implementation of
the modified data base.
