A storyboard is a graphic representation of how your video will flow, and it can
look something like this:
What we have here is a series of numbered images of illustrations representing the
different shots, and we can also add some notes to clarify what we need to show in
each shot. So, why do we need this?
The reason is that it saves time and money. A storyboard can help you explain to
others how the movie is going to be and what it will look like, and provides a solid
shot list that makes the creation process smooth. This can also work as a safeguard
for you, because if the client agrees with the storyboard, any additional changes can
be charged as extra work.

Even though this is not something that is essential to work with Lumion's Movie
mode, you should take some time to think and plan the movie before starting the
recording in Lumion.

What is the procedure to create a movie in Lumion? We need to start by creating
clips using the three options mentioned earlier, and once we've finished recording
and creating these clips, we can add effects. So, we have two options:
Applying the effects to each individual clip : The benefit here is that we
have the opportunity to give specific attention to each section of the movie,
but the disadvantage is that we might have to use the same effect in several
clips, which means we have to copy and paste the effect over and over
