Similar to the effects covered in the previous chapter, these effects can individually
add a nice touch, but we can create a more professional and eye-catching look by
combining them. However, did we mention that if we stack an effect over another
effect, we can nullify effects?
That is correct, and this is an aspect we need to keep in mind while working with
these effects. Another word of caution is that the effects we will cover do not
always produce the best results when combined with the depth of field, chromatic
aberration, and other effects associated with realism. This means that we have to
delete, hide, or even move the effects. But how?
Moving, deleting, and hiding effects
To take the best of what Lumion's effects have to offer, we need to understand how
to stack effects on top of each other, removing or changing their position. While
adding effects to your scene, you probably have noticed that this small button that
is available with every single effect, as shown in the following screenshot:
This small button with no name is the way we control effects in Lumion, as
exemplified by the following screenshot:
