Summary
This chapter was no doubt an aid to start improving the look and realism of our
scene. A correct light rig can make all the difference from an interesting image to an
eye-catching and beautiful visualization. You learned how to use the Weather menu
and some effects to create a good mood for the scene, and this helped introduce how
the Photo mode works along with the effects available. Then, to bring the scene to
the next level, you learned how to correctly use spotlights and fill lights to create
an optimized render scene without increasing the render time too much. Finally,
you understood how to use the reflection cube to quickly improve the reflection in
glass surfaces.
What's next? In the next chapter, you will start the delicate task of tweaking and
adjusting dozens of effects, particularly, the ones used with the Photo and Movie
modes, which can make your scene unique. You will see how to use real camera
and color correction effects to improve the realism of your project.
