Photo Viewing
Photos App
The Photos app is pre-installed on Android. Like the Camera app, it gives you the basics.
You can view images in various locations as thumbnails and full screen and run a slide
show. The Photos app goes a bit further- it connects to any photos you've stored on Google
Picaso.
QuickPic
QuickPic ( http://bit.ly/1cqr5Sw ) adds a lot more photo viewing capability, and it's free and
has no ads. You can specify the folders to be scanned for images and exclude folders to
speed up the scan. You can hide images and password protect them. Hiding is especially
useful if you have a lot of music stored on your device. You can use the hide feature to hide
album cover art so that it doesn't clutter up your photo collections.
QuickPic can also play animated GIF's and videos, although the movie playback is basic.
You can rotate and resize images as well as set them as wallpaper. File management fea-
tures allow you to rename, sort, move, and copy images, and you can create new folders to
help you organize your photos from within the app.
