Google Play Store
Free vs. Paid Apps
Apps are either free or paid. In many cases, the free app is intended to let you try the key
features of the app to be sure it works on your device and does what you want before you
spend any money. Such “trial” apps often lack some key features that are available in the
paid version of the app.
Other free apps differ from the paid version only in that they are ad-supported. This usually
means that ads will appear along the top or bottom of the screen or in pop-ups in a corner.

your purchase so you can cancel if you buy an app by mistake.
Games
Games also come in free and paid versions. Free games often are limited versions of the full
game, or else require you to start buying things to progress beyond a certain level. Other
games are totally free but are ad-supported. Games are apps, by the way, but are so popular
that the Play Store has a separate place for them.
Finding Apps

such as “Play Picks”, “Recommended for You”, “Apps to Watch”, “Like Recent Installs”,
“App Highlights”, “Get Things Done”, and several more.
You can also browse apps by categories such as business, comics, communication, and
many more by selecting “Categories”. In addition, you can look at the best selling apps by
selecting “Top Charts” and the latest apps with “New Releases.”
Reviews
