after a few seconds of no activity from Bluetooth devices. Still, keep Bluetooth off unless
you are using a Bluetooth device.
The status of the Bluetooth radio is shown in the Status area at the upper right corner of the
screen. A blue Bluetooth icon means that Bluetooth is on and active. A gray icon means
that Bluetooth is sleeping and that it will wake up when you use a connected device. No
icon means Bluetooth is off or the device is in Airplane mode.
You can greatly extend battery life, especially while traveling, by switching your device
to Airplane mode. This shuts down all of the radios in the tablet, including Bluetooth. To
switch to Airplane mode, pull down Quick Settings, then tap the Airplane Mode icon. Do
the same to turn Airplane Mode off.
To turn off Bluetooth only, pull down Quick Settings and tap the Bluetooth icon.
