Finding Accessories
Most Android phones and tablets comes with just the device, a USB cable, an AC charger,
and brief manual. You'll almost certainly want to protect your device with a case or cover,
possibly a screen protector, add a vehicle charger, and maybe a physical keyboard and
mouse. There are many such accessories and I can only give a few examples here.
Cases and Covers for Tablets
As an example, here are some cases and covers for the Nexus 7. Similar covers and cases are
available for other tablets. If you prefer to use your tablet bare to keep the size and weight in
your hand to a minimum, you can protect it in a case or sleeve when it's not in use. A simple
sleeve such as the Leather Google Nexus 7 Sleeve by Dockem ( http://amzn.to/1iS1u6a ) may
be all you need.
If you need more protection while using the Nexus, the ASUS New Nexus 7 FHD Official
Travel Cover ( http://amzn.to/1etoT01 ) protects the Nexus screen when closed, and wakes up
the tablet when opened. Openings allow full access to ports, buttons, and the cameras.
You can also get covers which double as stands to make viewing movies and TV shows easi-
er, such as the MoKo Nexus 7 FHD Case ( http://amzn.to/1etqp2q ) .
Some cases can support the Nexus in either portrait or landscape orientation- an example is
the rooCASE Nexus 7 FHD Dual-View Cover ( http://amzn.to/1gwCDIa ) .
And finally, for really rugged protection, you can't beat Otterbox ( http://amzn.to/1gwCS5T ) .
This case protects the ports as well as the screen.
Phone Cases
Most users protect their bare phone with a case. An example is the Incipio MT-298 DualPRO
( http://bit.ly/1CDnhvH ). This slim case doesn't add much bulk so you can still carry your
phone in a pocket. As with tablets, Otterbox is widely regarded as making the toughest
and most protective phone cases. For the Droid Maxx, the Defender series ( http://bit.ly/
