When you tap the center of the screen while reading, the progress bar shows your current
place in the book. Tap anywhere on the progress bar or drag the slider, to jump elsewhere in
the book. Your current page number and the total pages are shown in the lower right corner.
Bookmarks
You can set bookmarks from the menu, but the easiest way is to tap the upper right corner
of the screen. A red bookmark appears.
To view your bookmarks, tap the Contents icon at the lower left corner of the screen (tap
the center of the screen to bring up the progress bar if it's not visible.) Then tap the Book-
marks tab.
Notes and Highlighting
Long-press in the text to select it. Then drag the markers to select the desired text. Tap the
highlight icon to highlight the text and choose from four highlight colors. To create a note,
tap the Notes icon, then enter your text with the virtual keyboard. A small Note icon ap-
pears next to the highlighted text.
To view your notes and highlights, tap the center of the screen, then tap the Contents icon
at the lower left. Tap the Notes tab to see a list of your notes and highlights. Tap any item
to jump to that page.
Look up Words in the Dictionary
Long-press a word in the text to select it. A pop-up appears at the bottom of the screen with
the definition. Tap on the pop-up to see the full definition. Tap elsewhere on the screen to
close the pop-up and return to reading.
