black ceramics made by the La Ciénaga
populations of Catamarca between the

First loor
Gallery Guide
To the right of the entrance hall is the paleontological
collection, while the opposite side of the ground floor has
zoological and entomological exhibits. The upper floor
introduces man's role in the world. Some rooms and exhibits
may be temporarily closed due to renovation work.

This section documents the country's
many fossil findings, including the
Neuquensaurus , which appeared in
Argentina 71 million years ago.
