FLOWER BORDER The court instructed that the map was to be 'framed'. This section shows the
decorative running pattern of pinks - Shakespeare's 'streak'd gillyvors' - intertwined with peas in
their pods, fruiting grape vines, red flower buds (perhaps sweet peas?) and acorns, echoing the oak
trees drawn on the map.
