and Chinese food (most dishes around K4500) is decent, and there are a few Burmese and

io, serving up fresh juice, noodles and ice cream to hungry travellers. While there are two
branchesinthecentreoftown,theoriginalroadsidestoreisthenicest,withapettingzooand
pavilions scattered around the strawberry fields.

The kitchen here copes surprisingly well with the res-
taurant's ridiculously extensive menus (plural), which cover everything from sushi to ham-
burgers and hotpot. There's a pretty lakeside deck with views towards the Kandawgyi Gar-
dens, and it's popular with visitors and locals alike. California rolls cost K4000, fried rice
from K3000, and there's a good range of cakes available too.
