Activity 3.9
Using appropriate reference sources, research and
write your own case study on one of the following
cities - Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham. You
must describe the features and facilities that attract
inbound and domestic visitors to the destination and
analyse how the city attracts both types of visitors
and meets their needs. You should also evaluate
the effectiveness of the destination in meeting the
needs of inbound and domestic visitors, making
recommendations for addressing gaps or weaknesses
in provision.
This activity is designed to provide evidence for P3, P5,
M1 and D1.
