Top Tip Final entry to most museums is generally 30 minutes (sometimes one
hour) before the official closing time. We have cited the time for last entry in most
reviews.
In this topic, we include opening times for most individual businesses. As a general rule:
Banks 8.30am to 1.30pm and 3.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Bars & pubs 10am to 1am
Cafes 7.30am to 8pm
Nightclubs 10pm to late
Pharmacies 9am to 12.30pm and 3.30pm to 7pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 12.30pm
Saturday and Sunday
Restaurants 12.30pm to 2.30pm and 7.30pm to 10pm
Shops 9am to 1pm and 3.30pm to 7.30pm (or 4pm to 8pm) Monday to Saturday
Discount Cards
The Firenze Card ( www.firenzecard.it ; €72) is valid for 72 hours and covers admission to 72
museums, villas and gardens in Florence as well as unlimited use of public transport. Buy
it online (and collect upon arrival in Florence) or in Florence at tourist offices or at the
ticketing desks of the Uffizi (Entrance 2), Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, Museo del
Bargello, Cappella Brancacci, Basilica Santa Maria Novella and Giardini Bardini. If
you're an EU citizen your card also covers under-18s travelling with you.
