In-Depth Information
anticancerous properties. The biocompatible ferro-fluids based on oxide
nanoparticles are of particular interest in clinical applications such as drug
targeting [ 40 ]. At the same time, mechanism for their cytotoxic effect is still
to be understood. Recently reported study of Er 3+ doped CeO 2 nanoparticles
[ 35 ] indicates the future scope for EMR of rare earth impurity doped oxide
nanoparticles.
