If you are planning to do a training course during your gap-year, you may be eligible for
funding via a Career Development Loan. A CDL is a deferred repayment bank loan to help
you pay for vocational learning or education. The Department for Education pays the in-
terest on your loan while you are learning and for up to one month afterwards.
