Whatever you want from your gap year or sabbatical, The Leap exists to help you get as
much out of your experience as physically possible... In fact, it's become a bit of an obses-
sion of ours!
So what makes Leaping different? In a nutshell: all programmes include a mix of projects,
in a variety of locations - that is what makes us unique.
It's probably a good idea to explain what we mean by Leaper. It encapsulates the adventur-
ous, energetic, charitable, and ambitious side of everyone we send away. All of our destin-
ations allow you to take that giant Leap into whatever exciting future awaits you, in work,
but more importantly, life.
There's a gazillion-and-one ways to travel, whether it's inter-railing across Europe, learn-
ing yoga in India, or travelling independently with a round the world ticket. All of the
above will offer their own unique experience. But for those looking for something differ-
ent, for a way to give back to the community, you'll undoubtedly learn to love, to enhance
your own skills, and have the time of your life, then The Leap may just be for you.
The Leap offers team volunteer placements (usually 10-15 per team meaning friends to so-
cialise and travel with), working on turtle conservation in Costa Rica, community projects
in Cambodian orphanages, and horse safari in South Africa, to name just a few. Through
working so consistently and intimately with communities over a number of years, your vo-
lunteering is guaranteed to make a genuine and rewarding difference. Oh, and almost forgot
to mention... it's all rather fun!
