In-Depth Information
If one of your destinations has a fixed arrival and departure date - for example if you're
signed up for a voluntary project - you could try asking for a route tailor-made for you
using the prices you find on the web. Travel agencies can often find better deals and it
takes some of the hassle away from you. Like Round the World Experts (part of the Flight
Centre) but there's also the likes of STA Travel.
Make sure you check out the company making an offer on the web before you use internet
booking procedures (does it have a verifiable address and phone number?). Remember, un-
der EU law companies must publish a contact address on their website. So, unless the com-
pany in question is a household name, or you are able to locate a legitimate address via
another source, think twice before handing over your hard-earned cash.
It's important - as ever! - to read the Terms and Conditions to see what you're paying for
and whether you can get your money back before you agree to buy - just as you would
outside the virtual world.
