In-Depth Information
Hat Nai Han , with its crescent of white sand backed by casuarinas, bobbing yachts, the
seafront Wat Nai Han and a monsoon-season surf break, is the best beach in the area, but
there are smaller, hidden beaches that are just as beautiful. Hat Rawai lacks Nai Han's good
looks. It's just a rocky long-tail and speedboat harbour, which makes it the perfect place
to open up a seafood grill - and there is a string of them here. All are locally owned and
serve equally delicious fare. This is where most of the luxury condo development seems
to be proliferating. Sadly, you can almost envision the day when real-estate money will
chase away all the seafood grills and tiki bars. Let's hope that's several decades off. Or at
least one.
