Decorated in the eighteenth-century taste, grand Fenton House is home to a collection of
European and Oriental ceramics, as well as a superb collection of early musical instru-
ments . Experienced keyboard players are occasionally let loose on some of the instruments
during the day and you can book tickets for one of the occasional concerts . Tickets for the
house also allow you to take a stroll in the beautiful orchard, kitchen garden and formal
garden (garden only; £2), which features some top-class topiary and herbaceous borders.
