Bearing a striking resemblance to a giant car headlight, Norman Foster's startling glass-en-
cased City Hall is the headquarters for the Greater London Authority and the Mayor of
London. Visitors are welcome to stroll up the helical walkway, visit the café and watch pro-
ceedings from the second floor. Contact in advance for access to “London's Living Room”
on the ninth floor, which boasts the best views over the Thames.

Lifelong dream of Zandra Rhodes, fashion's grande dame extraordinaire , the FTM is an ar-
resting sight - daubed in yellow, pink and orange - on an otherwise drab street architectur-
ally. Rhodes opened her first boutique in the 1960s and reached her peak of popularity dur-
ing the punk era. Her won sartorial taste hasn't changed much since, but thankfully the mu-
seum's exhibitions are more wide-ranging and are often drawn from her own vast collection.
