From afar, the domed semicircular structure of
Blue Moon

looks like an alien landing on

spiaggia comunale
(public beach) at the north end of the Lido. A series of
ramps and staircases lead to a bar, a restaurant, a raised dance floor and a
viewing platform. In summer the hive-like structure hums with daytime
events and activities.
Happy Hour on El Pecador
No you're not suffering from heat stroke: that really is a red, double-decker
bus parked along the Lungomare, attracting an alternative crowd to im-
promptu beach parties. Head to
