Adhámas
The lively main port of ADHÁMAS was a small hamlet until it was populated by refugees
from a failed rebellion in Crete in the 1840s. Because it is so recent, you may find it
architecturally disappointing compared to some of the Cycladic ports, despite the
marble-paved esplanade around its natural headland. There is an ill-defined centre just
inland of the esplanade, at the junction of the Pláka road and the Mílos Bay coastal
road, where restaurants, cafés and shops abound.
Ecclesiastical Museum

Triádha just behind the quayside. It has a superb collection of liturgical paraphernalia
and rare icons that arrived in Adhámas when the inland capital, Zefyría, was

permitting, the boats normally leave at 10am from the Adhámas quayside and return at
6-7pm.
