By ferry
There is a fast catamaran service to Pireás taking
only two hours and there are good connections in the
summer to many other islands. The port is at the Livádhi
promontory.

There are two ATMs along the seafront in Livádhi.
The island's post office is in the lowest quarter of Hóra.

GETTING AROUND
By bus
The bus stop and timetable are at the base of the
yacht- and fishing-boat jetty. There is a circular bus route
serving Panayía-Galaní-Kéndarhos-Áyios Ioánnis-Psilí
Ámmos (2-7 daily; circular route 1hr), Hóra (every 30min
in summer; 15min; the last weekend bus from Hóra is after
midnight)
Ioánnis-Psilí Ámmos-Méga Livádhi-Koutalás (2 daily;
30min).

Livádhi and around
Most visitors stay in the port,
LIVÁDHI
, set in a wide greenery-fringed bay and handy
for most of the island's beaches. The usually calm bay here is a magnet for island-
hopping yachts, to take on fresh water which, despite its barren appearance, Sérifos
has in abundance. Livádhi and the neighbouring cove of Livadhákia are certainly the
easiest places to find rooms in, along with any amenities you might need, which are
scarce elsewhere.
