A software group is installed using one of the four installation methods:
SunInstall, Web Start, JumpStart, or Custom JumpStart.
Individual software packages can be installed using the
pkgadd
command and
removed using the
pkgrm
command.
Updates to packages (that is, patches) can be installed using the
patchadd
command and removed using the
pathcrm
command.
