At the other extreme, if the marriage was shaky to begin with, a long separation will en-
courage their lives to take different directions. If this is the case, there is obviously a high

between the two. More important is to take into consideration the emotional aspects, which
will not only affect the marital relationship but also the whole family's welfare.
