Hosting a FreeCiv server
Playing FreeCiv against the AI is a great way to learn and get good at the game, but the
game really shines when you include your friends (or soon to be enemies).
The Raspberry Pi serves as a great platform to host a multiplayer FreeCiv game. Just use
the following steps:
1. From the desktop menu, select
Games
and then click on
Freeciv server
. A com-
mand window will open and automatically start a new game.
2. Now, load FreeCiv, and click on
Connect to Network Game
. Your game server
should appear in the list of available games.
3. Double-click on the desired game to join it.
