Clipper Navigation ( 800-888-2535; www.clippervacations.com/clipper-ferry ) Privately
operated; operates the Victoria Clipper, a passenger ferry that connects Seattle with Vict-
oria, BC. Stops at San Juan Islands mid-May through September, and also has whale-
watching trips.
Washington State Ferries (WSF; 888-808-7977; www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries ) Oper-
ates most of the ferries in the Puget Sound area. Popular routes go to Bremerton and to
Bainbridge and Vashon Islands from Seattle. WSF also operates the ferry system through
the San Juan Islands and on to Sidney (near Victoria, on Vancouver Island, BC) from An-
acortes.
