Transformed in recent years, the St Regis is now an art-lined
boutique hotel in a 1913 heritage shell. Befitting its age, almost all the rooms seem to be
a different size, and they exhibit a loungey élan with leather-look wallpaper, earth-toned
bedspreads, flatscreen TVs and multimedia hubs. Rates include cooked breakfast, access

tion that brought the 1927-built landmark back to its golden-age glory. Despite the ab-

While many rooms have city views, the ones with waterfront vistas will blow you away,
