Lake Owyhee State Park CAMPGROUND$

tipis $36; ) Some 40 miles south of Ontario is this desertlike state park, on the shores of
Lake Owyhee. It's at the end of a long, one-way road, but getting here is half the fun -
and there are tipis to rent.

A good camping spot relatively close to Ontario is this large oasis at the Snake River's
Brownlee Reservoir, 25 miles northwest of town.

something a little different, rent out this darling one-bedroom cottage in a residential
area. You'll get all the benefits of your own private little house, and the 'hosts' (who live
